
Bridget Topousis, OTD, OTR/L
Bridget Topousis has dedicated her work in Occupational Therapy to serving and supporting students, children, and families since 2011. She founded Academic Allies, LLC in 2020 to expand student growth and joy beyond the classroom by using a holistic approach that supports the classroom, family, and community behind the student.
Bridget’s areas of expertise range from identifying and treating sensory processing differences in young children to developing executive functioning strategies with adolescents to maximize their level of function and joy. She has special interest and advanced training in the areas of handwriting skill foundations and remediation, motor incoordination and dyspraxia, multi-disciplinary assessment teaming, strategies for identifying intrinsic motivation and building grit, and teaching and learning alongside occupational therapy graduate students.
Bridget Topousis, OTD, OTR/L received her clinical doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2011. She is registered and licensed to practice Occupational Therapy within the state of Minnesota. She is currently serving students in charter schools within the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
